East Coast Energy Company

CAS had the opportunity to development sophisticated control room IT and voice systems for East Coast Energy’s. Our goal was to enhance the communication experience for end users, power companies, and internal staff.

Our team purpose-built a new back-up command & control center to create a resilient technology environment and deliver power management to the east-coast region.

We produced technical specifications that represented the needs of the control room and power dispatch users. To help East Coast Energy achieve their goals, CAS recommended and delivered:

User requirements analysis for the staff in the Philadelphia main control room. Our dedicated team interviewed front-line users and management to establish current perceptions and future requirements.
Specification requirements documentation for infrastructure, trader voice, media recording, all-call announcement, external network services, and integration with corporate systems.
Evaluation of supplier responses, short-listed presentation process, contract negotiation, and detailed scope of works agreement.
Project management, acceptance testing, go-live planning, and in-service support.
